Day to day ownership of identity, access, retention policies and data protection for 2,500 people working across more than 75 countries. I tune the controls so security does not get in the way of work.

Copilot readiness

Getting an organisation ready for Microsoft 365 Copilot before licences are bought: a pilot plan, a clear view of licensing options, and the security and data prerequisites that decide whether Copilot is safe to switch on.

Digital workplace and adoption

Moving teams to new tools and helping them use those tools well. I have delivered more than 50 training sessions on Microsoft 365 workloads and I write plain language articles for users.

Change management, stakeholder engagement, end user training

Automation with PowerShell

Repeatable scripts for reporting, audits and bulk changes, so admin work is faster and easier to check. I publish the ones I can share in the guides section below.

What I did

  • Implemented the mailing and messaging platform for the merger of nationalised banks, serving 40,000+ users. The work covered Exchange Hybrid, ADFS and ADFS Proxy, Hyper-V, self-service password reset, and migrating users from Exchange on-premises and Lotus Notes (with Quest) to Office 365.
  • Migrated workloads to Microsoft 365 in projects of 700+, 900+, 2,000+ and 4,000+ users, from Exchange on-premises, other Office 365 environments, PST files, Google Workspace, Zoho Mail and cPanel.
  • Led planning, design and implementation of digital workplace migrations, adoption and IT transformation projects, and guided users through onboarding and support.
  • Used BitTitan, CloudM, Quest and AzCopy, and ran bulk requests with PowerShell.
  • Completed 15+ major projects and worked with 30+ clients on proofs of concept and other queries, at scales from individuals to 40,000+ users.
